October 25 –ICBC and Smile Angel Foundation, a charity affiliated with the Chinese Red Cross Foundation, launched the "ICBC – Simile Angel Foundation Money Link Card" and "Monthly donations to Smile Angel Foundation", a charity initiative designed for Smile Angel Foundation. The initiative aims to take advantages of the new charity financial service platform to help the cleft children from poor families smile again.

A Smile Angel Foundation Money Link Card has all the functions of a Peony Money Link Card, an executive with ICBC said. The card offers all the services for personal banking: savings, wealth management, payment and settlement, retail spending, daily bill payment and personal loans. Moreover, ICBC will donate 0.1 yuan to Smile Angel Foundation for every successful application of Smile Angel Foundation Money Link Card by the customers. Those who are interested can also join the initiative "Monthly donations to Smile Angel Foundation" launched here at the same time. To donate, fill in Application Form for Monthly Donations at any ICBC outlet in the country, use your debit card or current deposit passbook and surrender the valid ID document. Service of "Monthly donations to Smile Angel Foundation" is immediately in force once applied. No banking charges are collected. After the formalities, ICBC will deduct every month automatically from the debit card/current account passbook of the customers and donate to Smile Angel Foundation, according to the date and amount stated.

Customers who have recently successfully applied the Smile Angel Foundation Money Link card and join the program of "Monthly Donations" to Smile Angel Foundation will receive Faye Wong's charity songs CD, exclusively offered by Smile Angel Foundation. The CDs, a treasure for the collectors, are not for sale and only supplied through ICBC to the customers as gifts on a limited, first-come-first-served basis.
